About Us

Russ Brown started photographing the City of Brotherly Love with a point and shoot.  While on Kelly Drive he noticed that one of the photos he had taken was different then the rest.  It was good!  From that day Russ fell in love with photography and married it with his love for Philadelphia.  Russ spent many days walking the city and learning photography.  Being self taught Russ has used the trial and error approach to learning his craft.  His goal is to put Philadelphia in its best light, making it look like the magical place that it is.  His photos of Philadelphia are straight out of camera with little retouching.  Russ relies on the right moment rather than post processing.  He prefers to use long exposures, infrared and timing to produce the stunning images you see here today.
